What you will find once there

The Copper Tap is a tastefully decorated family run venue. Of course it is spotlessly clean too. Both ensure a warm relaxing visit. Whether decide to sit inside or making the most of the heated, covered outdoor booths.

Indoor tables are suitable for couples, groups or for singles. During the day it’s peaceful, in the evening a pleasant mild buzz. Yet not so loud you can’t hold a conversation.

Even if you don’t decide to sit in the beer garden, do stick your nose out the rear door to have a shufty. Delightful heated roofed huts with heaters, garden lighting and cushions. It just gives your own little personal space.

It’s also a great place to do a bit of work with a coffee and snack. With free wi-fi it’s good to get a break from the home office or even meet a client.

Of course it would be extremely remiss not to mention the first class service that is always on offer.

Breakfasts, Meals & Snacks

As for the food? Well just where do I start? Those who enjoy an English Breakfast can go for the works. For the lighter appetite, there is a more discreet serving. I’d have to say of all the breakfast venues around the area, it offers by far the greatest range I have seen. Just cast your eyes at the menu below. Most impressively, it is all home cooked to perfection. Breakfasts are served from 9:30 to 11:30.

As well as breakfasts the Copper Tap offers a varied menu from sandwiches, soup, appetisers, salads and cheese / meat boards. A kid’s menu is also available. All served from 12 to 3pm. Oh did I mention, you can always treat yourself to some yummy baking accompanied by a real coffee or quality tea. What’s more, cake and other home made treats are available all day.

Bar Fayre

At the bar you will find everything you would expect from a trendy venue. From soft drinks to gins, cocktails and craft beer. Typically two local real ales are on draft too, expertly kept. The bar rotates the beers on a regular basis, all locally sourced. If you prefer a soft drink or non alcoholic beet, you can find them too. A real eclectic mix of clientele of all ages.

How to Find the Copper Tap

Right in the centre of Orrell at the crossroads leading to the Delph. There is parking around the corner, on a paid car park. Alternatively you could drive down residential roads by the Co-Op. If you choose the latter, please respect the locals in how you park.
