Date: Saturdays and Sundays 4th to 18th December 11 am – 3pm.

Location: Wigan Galleries – Woodcock Square

Possibly the last chance to see in the Galleries. Plenty of different, festive activities taking place during the month. Don’t forget to hand deliver your letter to Santa before 16th December. If Santa is away pop it in the post box. befpre the 16tth. Make sure you include your address for the reply. Each Saturday there will be Christmas crafting 11am-3pm. Each Sunday there will be glitter face painting and tattoos 11am-3pm. Look out for our entertainment acts too! As this event is expected to be busy please we aware that the queue for meeting Santa/Face Painting/Crafting may close earlier than 3pm, so pleasearrive in plenty of time to avoid disappointment.

Brass Band ay 3:30pm, Santa at 4 pm. Lights switch on at 4:15 pm. To help keep everyone safe, they will be asking that you wear a mask when in the Masonic Hall and enclosed spaces

Wigan and Leigh Hospice Christmas Fayre

Date: Saturday 4th December 12 – 6pm.

Something for everyone; a well-loved Christmas Fayre has returned to the Hindley Hospice grounds. Stock up on Christmas gifts and goodies, raffle prizes and refreshments. You’ll also be able to see their beautiful 30-ft tall Light for a Life tree and 5000 Lights featuring 60 Christmas Trees covered in glittering lights. Get yourself in the mood for Christmas and help them raise some money so that they can continue providing vital care to local people.

In Another Places’s Live Nativity at Crosby Beach is back!  Shepherds, Angels, wise men, at the beach in December…. with a real live camel? That’s exactly what you can expect, start your advent with this immersive experience of the Nativity.

The nativity story will unfold on the beach with a mass choir, dancers, and local actors, set beside the iconic iron men of Crosby beach. It features a real camel to accompany the wise men. A unique Nativity, an opportunity for a memorable Christmas, suitable for all ages. Wrap up VERY warm. Multiple thin layers are better then less thicker ones. Don’t forget socks, hats and gloves. Enjoy a sunset performance at 4pm or the night sky as our 6pm backdrop. Come and join us on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th December at 4pm and 6pm. The performance will last 45mins.

Just free festive fun weekends in December.Can you help us find the elves around the site? Write a letter to Santa and post it in our post box and then watch a special recorded message from him.Take a selfie at our selfie stand and explore the site in Christmas Bingo. All activities are free and will vary each weekend.

Winter Arts Market – Liverpool Cathedral
